Salt

Don’t pass the salt, use the salt: the good quality stuff that is. What’s the good stuff? Good quality sea salt, which has less sodium than most commercially produced salt and more magnesium. Magnesium is an important mineral for healthy bones and teeth as well as helping muscles to relax. The best salt is sea salt that has not been chemically treated and is grayish in color. The most nourishing sea salt has been produced by the sun acting on clay-lined vats
of sea water.

Although the current trend is to reduce salt intake, good quality sea salt in small quantities will not only make the foods we eat taste better, it will help keep us healthy!
