Apple Crisp

·         ½ cup rolled oats

·         1/3 cup raw cane sugar

·         ¼ cup sprouted whole wheat flour

·         ½ tsp. cinnamon

·         Dash of salt

·         ¼ cup butter

·         4 to 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

·         1 to 2 tbsps. raw cane sugar

Combine oats, 1/3 cup sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt and butter in a medium size bowl using a fork or pastry blender. Set aside. Place apples in an 8”X8” baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining sugar. Spread oat mixture on top and bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Best served warm.

This recipe also works great substituting peaches for the apples.
